Art Of Forgiveness

Ms. Linda at litebeing chronicles reminded me to remember.



Moving into our New Year, New Earth, and New Self, we want to clean and clear all past resentments, fears and emotional baggage. Letting go and releasing, healing and forgiveness. I recall many years ago when I first started to focus on understanding forgiveness. What is forgiveness and what does it mean to forgive?

Wikipedia says:

Forgiveness is the renunciation or cessation of resentment, indignation or anger, as a result of a perceived offense, disagreement, or mistake, or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution.

What I discovered in those days and days since, is that forgiveness is internal, it is about self and perception of being wronged by another. Now taking this a step further, if you believe as I do that I am a fully responsible Self-Sovereign being, then there is nothing to forgive. This is a concept some will not accept.
